Description:
Registration is now open for this coming Saturday's (April 30) event in the Granite area of Patapsco Valley State Park (near Woodstock MD). Course setter Alex Merka has designed a full set of courses (beginner to advanced; white through blue) and has provided comments to help guide your course selection on this unusual-for-QOC rocky terrain. Hint: this is probably not a great event to try a more difficult course than usual!

As for most previous events using this area, check-in will be in the parking lot of the St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Church. Although rain is not currently forecast to occur in the 24 hours prior to the event, nonetheless please check the event webpage on Saturday morning just in case. If it does rain >0.25" during that period and we are forced to cancel the event, we will announce it on the webpage and will issue full refunds.

 
Special Request: After you have completed your course, please consider spending a half hour or so to pick up trash and debris in the area. Trash bags will be available for your use, but you'll need to carry your haul home to dispose of it.

Registration will close at noon this Friday (the day before the event), and there will not be day-of registration at the event, so why not head right now to the event webpage for all details and to register?
